Here are 3 solid reasons why a professional photographer is the better option
I know it can be tempting to let a family member, a friend or some random off the Internet do your photos for free / next-to-nothing. Or maybe have all your friends send you their phone photos after the event.
But here are some solid reasons why someone who does it for a living is a better bet!
- Any professional photographer worth their salt will be able to show you their portfolio – so you’ll know in advance what to expect
- Professional photographers will have the experience to know what works and what doesn’t, so you’ll get consistently good images
- You’ll be dealing with one person, and one person only
OK, but why should I book you and not someone else?
Here's 3 reasons why you need to book me
This one’s a bit trickier to answer. Because until we speak directly, I don’t know exactly what problem I’m helping you to resolve. Each assignment brings it own demands and challenges.
That said, these are 3 reasons why you need me more than the next photographer…
- Tell me and I listen. Sure I have ideas on how to shoot you / your event / your brand, but I have to hear what it is you want your photos to say about youÂ
- I pay attention. Telling you where to stand and how to pose is one thing, but I need to be able to hear (and see) when you’re out of your comfort zone and need a bit of reassurance and support
- I deliver. Your time is valuable, and I respect that by making sure you get your images when you need them
